The essential responsibilities of Professional Services Engineer are to deliver and configure functions for all network and security related devices or Cloud operations as part of the Professional Services and Managed Services.
Specific responsibilities include :
Primary role will be a support Engineer for Government Customer for any NetApp support case. You will be required to be on a rotational shift for standby and ready to pick up any case to go on site.
Rack and stack of physical hardware, power up and configuration.
Hardware relocation and migration activity including decommissioning.
Presales activities to review network architecture and design of network and security system or devices.
Gather requirements for the right configuration of the project deployment of equipment or cloud configuration.
Work with the project/sales team for a smooth implementation and commissioning of projects, including UAT, functional and performance load tests and device hardening.
Managed services including post implementation review for any network or security incidents.
Continuous knowledge updates in the latest network and security technologies
Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential and are utilized in communicating with customers and partners
Self-motivated, team player, enthusiastic and creative
Education & Experience :
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
